Spring, cleaning

My bromeliads are blooming despite all the freeze damage!
It is definitely Spring here when the Azaleas are blooming. The Camellias are just about finished now

I really like Jan's Blog she posts some painting demos that are quite informative as well as I do admire her style of art too.

The last picture is of the other half of my cleaned studio- before you could not see the floor or the desk - too full of piles!

I have a bad habit of getting too caught up in non-painting stuff going on in my life. Like selling a second home, replacing a car for my mom, dogs, church, art league, what ever it is -its my excuse ;)

As for excuses, I always have many- seems like the moment I get rid of one distraction and responsibility - another pops up in it's place. I am working on this and have joined up with Linda Blondheim to get going so to speak... I joined her Think Tank
